Liz is a British Member of the European Parliament, representing the West Midlands region of England for the ALDE (Liberal and Democrat) group. Liz is Vice President of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee, Vice President of the All Party Disability Intergroup, Co-Chair of the Intergroup on Ageing and also sits on the Human Rights Subcommittee. Liz has for many years campaigned on anti-discrimination issues, recently having had her landmark report on poverty and social inclusion overwhelmingly endorsed by the European Parliament and her report on new anti-discrimination measures adopted by the Employment and Social Affairs Committee.
